XAVIER BUTLER
-FOUNDER-

CEO Xavier Butler was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he was raised alongside four siblings in an impoverished, underserved neighborhood. While attending Boyd-Anderson High School, Xavier was able to excel in sports, graduating with accolades such as an All-American in football and a 2nd Team All-Conference in basketball. Later, Xavier received a full ride athletic scholarship from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia where he attended as a student-athlete majoring in therapeutic recreation and played college football for two years. Morris Brown College afforded Xavier the opportunity to emerge as a football star where even as a rookie he made 1st Team All-Conference. Due to the loss of programmatic accreditation at Morris Brown that directly impacted Xavier’s major, he transferred to Bethune-Cookman University where he set records such as earning the All Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Wide Receiver title for two consecutive years. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Xavier was fortunate enough to experience a brief experience on the pro football level, but he knew his calling was to motivate individuals on a daily basis...So he pursued a career in teaching, coaching and also personal training...Xavier has coached youth and high school basketball and football leagues, and college football as a wide receiver coach for many years. He has also been a personal trainer for over 10 years...Xavier has coached for the nationwide full-contact football camp (Offense-Defense Camp) for over a decade.

Personally, Xavier is a family man, which he is married to a beautiful wife and they share two children. Fatherhood is what Xavier treasures, especially after losing his own father at the tender age of thirteen. This traumatic experience had negative and positive effects. The very next report card Xavier received as an incoming freshman in high school depicted all “Fs,” which he had never had a failing grade before his father passed away. Xavier eventually began to have a positive outlook on life in general, reflecting on the fact that his father would have wanted him to excel in school/sports just as he did. So ultimately, Xavier’s father could be considered the contributing factor that motivated him to be more driven and focused. Xavier’s father passed the torch on to him, and now he wants to continue this tradition with not only his own biological sons, but also with the children in the community, utilizing sports as a conduit to do so. Butler’s Extreme Training LLC. was ultimately created as an apparatus for mentoring and also being a light in the community through sports/personal fitness. Xavier has repeatedly witnessed many youth athletes who lack academically and athletically when compared to their more economically advantaged counterparts simply because they were not exposed to similar resources like camps centered on sports. Xavier desired to create different programs so that less fortunate children could be able to have the same athletic training and become someone exceptional in life. He has also witnessed just men/women in general who suffer from lack of self esteem do to appearance and health... He knows the struggle all too well and desires to help men, women and children all over the world through his gifts. Mr. Xavier Butler made it out of the trenches of poverty, and would like to be a living testimony that “you can do whatever you put your mind to…
